Inspired by the Japanese Zodiac, Namikis “Snake” fountain pen and ink set was inspired by traditional Japanese painter, Riki Nakamachis, whose original sketches were brought to life using the Togidashi-Maki-e technique. This involves using a thin brush to paint motifs onto a surface, then dusting gold powder onto the lacquer.
