Many of Pintos collections are inspired by what brought the founder, Alberto Pinto, joy be it furniture, nature or the traditional Japanese art celebrated in the Vieux Kyoto line. Each piece reinterprets Japanese ink paintings (otherwise known as sumi-e) through intricate chromolithography on Limoges porcelain. Motifs vary by design, but often reference the Buddhist temples, shrines and gardens of Kyoto.
