Icheon-based Yon Ho-kyungs joyful archive is filled with light-hearted imagery inspired by shared experiences. To bring this to life, she hand-builds ceramics with a playful and purposeful approach. True to tradition, her buncheong ceramics are coated with a white slip and painted with her spirited sketchesin the case of this platter, stripes are the selected subject, colored in a blue and white palette inspired by classic porcelain.
