The Steppes blanket from Norlha is hand-spun from pure yak khullu wool. The fibre is chosen for its many virtues not just its durability and ethical gathering process, but also its softness and insulating properties. This piece features a pattern inspired by the mountainous expanse on the Tibetan Plateau, which is home to an endless variation of terrain, flora and fauna. Three different weaves combine, lending a soft, uneven texture.
