Raffaella Molin has loved working with her hands for as long as she can remember as a child her output was mud, which then developed into fashion design before she found stoneware. She describes her approach as a mood thing, letting her emotions of the day sway each piece. Her process is careful and controlled, starting with a tennis ball of black, textured clay which is hand-coiled, dried, bisque-fired and glazed. The results are beautifully unique, with human form-inspired silhouettes guided by her fashion background.
