MIXED METALS BY WHITING Fabulous sterling square bowl made by Whiting. It has an applied gold bird over etched clouds and an applied copper lizard/salamander over etched grasses. The interior of the bowl has a hammered finish. It’s marked with #1561. It dates from the 1890’s. The piece measures 2 1/4″ tall, 7 3/4″ wide, and it weighs 12.1 ozt.
