Misty Forest Ottchil Glass Highball

The Misty Forest collection by Vonz came to be in 2021 during the pandemic, inspired by the founder Jeongeun Kangs past travels throughout Korea. In particular, she recalled a drive towards Namyangju, looking out at the mountains in the distance and how they were covered by a blanket of faint fog the exact moment that informs this highball. To recreate it, she utilises the Korean ottchil technique, where 30 thin layers of rhus tree-derived lacquer are applied to create a distinct watercolour effect.
