Hand-Turned Patterned Beech Bowl

Each creation from Bird & Branch is handmade from a single piece of wood by husband and wife team Adam and Mercedes in their London-based workshop. In the case of this bowl, the material of choice is patterned beech wood. The pattern has been formed as the logs are broken down by fungus then, once dried, the process stops and the wood becomes workable. Once ready, its hand-shaped and turned to last a lifetime, becoming the perfect server for a host of different foods, such as fruits and vegetables.
