These large plates by Silvia K Ceramics are perfectly flat with a slightly upturned rim to ensure whatever youre serving stays put. Theyre handmade in the founders favourite terracotta clay and fired to mid-temperature note how shes intentionally left a portion unglazed to highlight the materials beautifully rich colour. If you look closely, youll see the waves of speckles around the edges, a result of the iron finding its way through the grey tin glaze. This may vary by design, which is only indicative of the unique, handmade nature of her work.
